Local Business Update
Thank you to all the residents who have supported Davidson restaurants and retailers in the last few months! Please continue to do so as North Carolina transitions further into its phased re-opening, beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020.
Many Davidson businesses continue to offer specials, curbside pick-up, or local delivery. Please consider calling in to place orders and then picking them up in one of the conveniently marked parking spaces, or, of course, ask about delivery options!
Residents can also participate in the town’s ongoing #GnomeTownHero project! Download a PDF of our friendly gnome, color him in, and write a supportive message to one of our local businesses! Learn more about the effort here.
After Phase 2 begins on May 22 at 5:00 p.m., some restaurants will be opening outdoor dining or limited indoor seating. It is always a good idea to call a business to confirm how it is specifically operating.
The following restaurants are open:
Other businesses open for curbside pick-up only:
|AR Workshop||Flying Fish Seafood||Main Street Books|
Businesses open with reduced capacity:
Businesses open by appointment only:

Town of Davidson’s Economic Development Manager Kim Fleming says, “Let’s use this time to show our businesses how important they are to us! Many of our local business have come up with creative solutions to best serve their customers and protect the health of their employees and their community. Let’s show them how much we appreciate them by showing our support over the coming days and weeks!”
The Davidson Farmers Market is offering off-site pickup at the Davidson Library parking lot to get you food from your favorite vendors throughout the week. Market organizers expect to see the offerings and days grow as they continue this service. Please visit the Davidson Farmers Market website here or its social media sites for more information and to purchase in advance. The market is closed until further notice.
