Town of Davidson’s New Town Manager Jamie Justice Starts Today
The Davidson Mayor and Board of Commissioners are pleased to announce James (Jamie) Justice as the new Davidson Town Manager. He begins work today.
Jamie Justice has served as the assistant town manager for Matthews, NC since 2008. Previously, he had served for 11 years as town manager for Mooresville, NC and Troy, NC.
His experience covers strategic planning; economic development; transportation; greenways, sidewalks and connectivity; marketing and branding; and building and renovation of municipal buildings.
Jamie has a B.A. in political science from Methodist University and a master of public administration in city/county management from Appalachian State University. He is married, has two children, and enjoys playing with his two boys, reading, and all sports.
“We are lucky to have found someone with a wealth of experience that is so applicable to Davidson,” said Mayor John Woods. “We appreciate his knowledge of the state, regional, and local issues and look forward to working with him.”
