How do I pay a traffic citation?
If you were issued a traffic citation you should have been given either a printed North Carolina Uniform e-Citation-Defendant's copy OR a handwritten North Carolina Uniform citation on a pink form. On either form of the citation, there should be a court date on the front. On the bottom on the e-Citation, and on the back of the pink form, there is information which states whether or not you must appear in court. If you do not need to appear in court, you can mail a certified check or money order along with the signed and dated citation.
