Police Officer
The Town of Davidson values the commitment law enforcement officers make to protect and serve its community. In addition to the competitive benefits package law enforcement officers are also eligible for the following incentives:
- Starting pay of $50,400.00
- Shift Differential pay
- Take home car within 20-mile radius
- $6,940.00 annual residence incentive for living within Davison town limits
- 5% salary increase for bi-lingual skills
- 5% associate's degree/10% bachelor's degree or 5% 3+ years military service (honorable discharge)
- Additional 5% at time of employment offer for every 3 years of full-time sworn service up to 9 years/15%
- After successful completion of the 12-month probation period a 5% salary increase
