Prescription Medicine Drop Box

Where did it go?

Because of the exposure risk to Davidson police and department employees, the prescription medicine drop box outside of town hall is being removed.  In addition, medications will no longer be accepted by staff at the reception desk.  This decision was reached after several biohazards and other improper deposits were made into the box, and employees were exposed to needle sticks when syringes were placed in the box.

The Davidson Police Department hopes to schedule an annual "medicine/drug take-back day" in the future.  This event will be publicized once it has been arranged.
