Pedestrian Projects

The Town of Davidson is dedicated to providing a safe network of sidewalks, crosswalks, sidepaths, multi-use paths, and greenways for residents and visitors alike to be able to travel safely on foot around town.

The Davidson Mobility Plan, adopted by the Davidson Board of Commissioners in August 2019, is a local comprehensive transportation plan that provides a town-wide vision for projects, policies, and programs to manage congestions and improve multimodal travel within and through town. Many of the recommendations made in the Mobility Plan guide the decision-making process for prioritization of pedestrian projects in town. You can read more about Davidson's Mobility Plan here.
