Communications

Overview

The communications department produces the town's printed quarterly newsletter, maintains the town's website and calendar, produces and issues town press releases, maintains the town's social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), sends frequent eCrier emails filled with news and information, produces or reviews all other print and electronic communications for the town, handles all media relations for Davidson, and manages emergency communications.

The two core values that the communications department embraces are:

  • Citizens are the heart of Davidson, so town government will treat all people fairly, with courtesy and respect.
  • Open communication is essential to an engaged citizenry, so town government will seek and provide accurate, timely information and promote public discussion of important issues.

We appreciate our engaged community.
